  8. My goal is to make Logistics and Supply Chain Management a subject in the school curriculum. Therefore, I take the leadership in popularizing Logistics, Transport, and Supply chain management education in Sri Lanka through awareness programs in schools, PR articles, seminars, Interschools Quiz competitions, Essay competitions, inter university competitions etc. I am partly successful as the Ministry of Education has revised the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Syllabus to incorporate 20 school periods of Logistics as a part of the Business Studies module in the 2017 revision which is the first step in the right direction.
  9. Researching, experimenting and appreciating the correlation between theory and application through student centred teaching methods, combined with innovative evaluation methods, students’ punctuality, discipline, leadership. My teaching method is dominated by students’ regular participation in industry events, intervention with industry experts, parents. internship, multi-disciplinary projects etc.

International Projects:

Represent Sri Lanka on invitation by the Australian Government- Department of Education and Training- in the  Indian Ocean Rim Association−(IORA) Project for development of transnational skills standards to support the maritime (port operations) sector in the Indian Ocean Rim.
